CVA expresses concern over AAFC research station closures
The Canadian Veal Association (CVA) expresses concern over the closure of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) research stations, particular the Lacombe Research Centre. The CVA has worked extensively with the team at the Lacombe Research Centre and their specialized knowledge of veal cattle is unique in Canada. The CVA urges the Government of Canada to maintain a national carcass quality and grading research program and work with industry partners to ensure ongoing research projects can continue.
